Introducing
"Grow Groups"
2nd session begins August 2024
Purpose:
1. Now more than ever, New Life needs to increase our emphasis on Discipleship. Through these groups we desire to grow in everyday likeness to Jesus and in practical spiritual understanding / personal spiritual maturity (for each of our benefit and to then benefit others in discipling the nations).
2. Fellowship — “Grow Groups” help us connect vertically with Jesus and horizontally with each other on deeper levels. Transitioning from the LARGE Group seasonal models on Monday evenings, the “Grow Groups” are smaller groups of 6-8 attendees to provide a more open environment for growth and connection. (Men’s and Women’s ministry will continue, but each will minister in new ways and in new activities.)
When:
The 2nd session will begin August, 2024. Pending on the host leader’s schedule, “Grow Groups” may meet any day of the week on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
Where:
All over Princeton! “Grow Groups” will largely happen in the leader’s home. There is something intimate and organic about meeting in homes. Again, it will foster greater fellowship connection in the group, and I think it may also provide a less intimidating environment for any attendee who are not a part of a church.
Who:
Pending how many host leaders agree to lead, it is tentatively open to all who are interested in these small group meetings! Eventually, we will get “Grow Groups” established to a measure where we can connect new members, attendees, and guests to groups as needed.
